FELLOWSHIP NIGHT AT 02: DINNER, ROD STEWART AND THE BEATLES

by Erika Guarino

An unforgettable trip to London

The memories of her trip to London are still fresh on Leah Alvarado’s mind. Together with her fellow delegates, she marveled at the gems of LondonTower of London, Tower Bridge, Stonehenge, Bath, Royal Crescent—it was like walking through the pages of a London tour book albeit with an added touch. “The second day of the tour was at the Imperial Palace for the Chinese Lauriat. It was the wackiest. We had a sing-along with everybody. We were joined by Mr. Peter Grimes, Mr. Max Joaquin and Mr. Mark Migallos. The most surprising of all was the Thames river cruise, and then we were taken to O2 or the Millennium Dome. We had a sumptuous dinner at Gaucho, and wow!, another surprise was Rod Stewart and The Beatles (tribute performers) were there to sing for us.

“We were amazed by the way Mr. Grimes treated us. He pampered us and made us feel very special. I would say this is the best Star Club I have ever been to. Truly the London convention was unforgettable.”
