Pru Life UK, the local subsidiary of British financial services giant Prudential plc, has further expanded its presence in the country with the launch of three new sales offices in and out of Metro Manila in the first quarter of 2017. The Company recently inaugurated Enriquez, Hernandez, and Villanueva Life Insurance Agency Inc. in Pampanga; Aventurine Life Insurance Agency in Las Piñas; and Eastern Summit Life Insurance Agency in Mandaluyong.
Enriquez, Hernandez, and Villanueva Life Insurance Agency Inc., headed by Branch Manager and incorporator Daniel Villanueva, is located at Unit 213, C. Aria Place, Jose Abad Santos Avenue, Barangay Dolores in San Fernando, Pampanga. Mr. Villanueva explained, “The City of San Fernando is one of the fastest emerging metropolises in the Philippines and we are keen on reaching out to its growing population. Our new office here will also help us tap the rest of Central Luzon, giving them access to Pru Life UK’s superior selection of products and helping us better serve its population’s financial protection needs.”
Down south, the Company launched Aventurine Life Insurance Agency at the AC & Sons Building, Alabang Zapote Road, Las Piñas City, under the leadership of Unit Manager Amy Mame.
Ms. Mame shared that their decision to open the office in Las Piñas had a lot to do with Pru Life UK’s mission to spread financial literacy to as many Filipinos as possible. She expounded, “It was strategic for us to open an office at the heart of the Las Piñas business district – a fast-growing commercial and residential area. We aim to educate the Filipino people on the importance of life insurance and provide adequate solutions to their financial needs, which also include excellent service and accessibility.”
Meanwhile, the Eastern Summit Life Insurance Agency is located at the 40th floor, Summit One OfficeTower, 530 Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. Unit Manager Raina Vargas-Comandante cited foot traffic as one of their reasons for opening the office in Mandaluyong. She said, “Mandaluyong remains one of the most populated cities in the capital, and it is our goal to ensure that these Filipinos have adequate financial protection.”
For her part, Senior Vice President and Chief Agency Officer Divine Furagganan said, “After a strong performance in 2016, we are determined to maintain the momentum this year by hitting the ground running. One of our priorities this year is to ensure that we continue to extend our innovative insurance products and funds to key cities across the country.”
Pru Life UK’s expansion in various locations across the country underscores the Company’s legacy which it has built for 20 years in the Philippines. In 1996, the Insurance Commission granted the British subsidiary the license to operate and sell life insurance in the country. Since then, Pru Life UK has expanded its reach to over 80 branches in the Philippines, with the biggest life agency force at over 17,000 licensed agents, and has emerged as one of the top five life insurers in the country.
