In its pursuit to break records this 2016, British life insurer Pru Life UK launched three new sales offices in the first half of the year. The company inaugurated Sunstone General Agency in February, Emerald Empire in May, and FGY Life Insurance Agency in June.
Sunstone General Agency, headed by Unit Managers Ma. Remedios Fajardo and Emily Espina, is Meanwhile, Emerald Empire Life Insurance Agency, under the leadership of Unit Manager Ronaldo Reyes, is located in Unit 602, Semicon Corporate Building, no. 50 Marcos Highway, Brgy. Dela Paz, Pasig City. Mr. Reyes cited the considerable level of foot traffic in the high-density area as one of the reasons behind the choice of location.
Most recently, the company inaugurated its newest sales office, the FGY Life Insurance Agency. Led by Blue Pearl 2 Unit Manager Fides Yap, it is located at the fourth floor of the NIC 2 Building, Capitol Square, Escario in Cebu City. According to Ms. Yap, the hub is accessible to all of the GA’s agents across the city.
“Our dream is for our whole team to grow and become a blessing to the people around us by helping them achieve a financially-secure future,” shared Ms. Yap.

Pru Life UK’s expansion in various locations across the country validates the company’s legacy which it has built for 20 years in the Philippines. In 1996, the Insurance Commission granted the British subsidiary the license to operate and sell life insurance in the country. Since then, Pru Life UK has expanded its reach to over 80 branches in the Philippines, with the biggest life agency force at 14,000 licensed agents, and has emerged as one of the top five life insurers.
