Leading life insurer Pru Life UK is rolling out a series of financial wellness virtual forums, called “PRUWise Webinars”, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of protection and guiding people on building a strong financial portfolio especially during these uncertain times. The first two webinars were attended by over a thousand customers and guests from all over the country.

On April 7, 15, and 17, Pru Life UK held its first series of PRUWise webinars attended by agents and clients from Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindano respectively. In these sessions, Bryan Evangelista, Pru Life UK Vice President for PRU Agent Academy, revisited the “Whys” and importance of having insurance protection, and Mark Anthony Valino, Pru Life UK Vice President for Investment Marketing, shared insights on building a stable and growing financial portfolio in different economic and market conditions.

“It is one’s responsibility to ensure his or her financial security despite the uncertain economic climate. We can achieve this through developing a sound financial plan that prioritizes liquidity and financial protection, as well as captures the right investment opportunities,” said Valino.

At the second series of PRUWise webinar on May 27, Pru Life UK invited an external speaker, Arnulfo ‘Noli’ De Pala, Chief Investment Officer of TriLake Partners Pte. Ltd., to host a talk under the theme “Appreciating the Global Financial Markets”. The inaugural public event received registrations from over 260 participants.

Pru Life UK will be organizing more webinars in the next few weeks. The third webinar featuring Dr. Gia Sison, a well-known occupational medicine specialist and mental health advocate, will be held on June 10, 2020 on the topic “Understanding mental health and financial stress”. This event is open for public registration now via this link. There will be another webinar on June 24, 2020 where viewers will be taken on a health and wellness journey with athlete and transformation coach Enzo Bonoan.
