British life insurer Pru Life UK is further increasing its presence in key parts of the country with the launch of seven new offices in Luzon and Mindanao.
Following the opening of its three new sales offices in Metro Manila and Cebu during the first half of the year, the Company inaugurated VGM 888 Life Insurance Agency Corp. in Davao City and China Gold Insurance Group General Agency Inc. in Cagayan de Oro City.
VGM 888 Life Insurance Agency, headed by Unit Manager Vanessa G. Madayag, is located at 236-239 Nova Tierra Square Hizon, Davao City, Davao del Sur.
When asked about the rationale behind her choice of location, Ms. Madayag shared, “It made sense to open an office in a fast-growing and developing city. It’s in accordance to our goal of reaching more Filipino families as well as help uphold our advocacy of saving lives through diligent financial planning.”
Meanwhile, China Gold Insurance Group Agency, under the leadership of Branch Manager Janet L. Ramos and Unit Manager Roland Ramos, is located at Block 19 Lot 1 Macapagal Drive, Pueblo Business Park, Pueblo de Oro, Upper Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.
“The number of customers in Mindanao continues to grow every day. Through the new office, we are hoping to extend Pru Life UK’s superior selection of products to its locals and properly educate them on the pros of life insurance,” related Ms. Ramos.
For her part, Senior Vice President and Chief Agency Officer Divine Furagganan said, “We are pleased to share that we were able to grow our agency force at such a fast pace this year. By further establishing our presence in these key areas, we are staying true to our Company’s mission to build a more financially-empowered Philippines.”
In Luzon, Pru Life UK launched five agencies namely: Belleza BDT Life Insurance Agency in Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Escosia Life Insurance Agency and Chrysanthemum Life Insurance Agency in Biñan, Laguna; JF General Insurance Agency (expansion office) in Sto. Tomas, Batangas; and JF General Insurance Agency (expansion office) in Fairview, Quezon City.
Pru Life UK’s expansion in various locations across the country validates the Company’s legacy which it has built for 20 years in the Philippines. In 1996, the Insurance Commission granted the British subsidiary the license to operate and sell life insurance in the country. Since then, Pru Life UK has expanded its reach to over 80 branches in the Philippines, with the biggest life agency force at 14,000 licensed agents, and has emerged as one of the top five life insurers.
