Pru Life UK’s Php 5 million donation to Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation Inc. (PGHMFI), as part of the Prudential COVID-19 relief fund, supports the University of the Philippines -Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) Bayanihan Na COVID-19 project in providing quality medical-grade equipment and supplies for PGH and its healthcare workers who risk their lives to help battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Close to a thousand PGH healthcare workers are set to benefit from the project, distributing personal protective equipment, including N95 masks, goggles, face shields, and cover-all suits. Medical equipment such as Zoll Cardiac Defibrillators, Terumo Infusion Pumps, and Terumo Syringe Pumps are to be deployed to COVID-19 patients who need cardiac and respiratory care.

The PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization which was conceived to assist the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) in achieving its noble mission of providing excellent healthcare for its indigent patients.
