DOH 5th PLUK National Health Sector Meeting

British life insurer Pru Life UK, represented by the Chief Health Officer of Prudential Corporation Asia (PCA) Andrew Wong, participated in the 5^thNational Health Sector Meeting of the Department of Health (DOH) on September 11. The topic of his presentation was “Telehealth Applications for Health Seekers.”

Pru Life UK was the only life insurance company in the Philippines invited by DOH to participate in its “Building structures: Information technology infrastructure” session. The meeting centered around how innovative mobile applications and algorithms could guide individuals and patients in making intelligent health choices.

Attended by more than 250 health sector stakeholders, including Health Secretary Dr. Francisco Duque III and his undersecretaries, chief of hospitals, and officials of DOH regional offices, the meeting sought to develop health sector policies and directions through inclusive discourse and strategy development.

In line with its mission to introduce innovative solutions to help Filipinos overcome challenges within the health sector, Pru Life UK will present a comprehensive assessment of mobile health (mHealth) at European-Philippine Business Summit 2019 on October 24.
