The Catastrophic Cancer Benefit is payable only if the late-stage cancer meets the criteria of a Catastrophic Cancer at the time of diagnosis and will be paid simultaneously with the Late-Stage Cancer Benefit. This benefit is not payable if the catastrophic cancer is a progression of a previously claimed cancer. If an Early-Stage Cancer Benefit has been paid, the Late-Stage Cancer Benefit will be reduced accordingly. Once the Late-Stage Cancer Benefit is paid, the policy terminates and no Death Benefit will be payable. Except for the Early-Stage Cancer Benefit, All benefits are payable once.   • Early-Stage Cancer Benefit – Receive 50% of the Sum Assured in advance, upon diagnosis of covered early-stage cancer. Once claimed, the policy continues provided premiums are continuously paid. ​​

  • Late-Stage Cancer Benefit – Receive 100% of the Sum Assured upon diagnosis of a covered late-stage cancer, less any Early-stage Cancer Benefit previously paid. Once claimed, the policy will terminate. ​​

  • Catastrophic Cancer Benefit – Receive an additional 20% of the Sum Assured, if the diagnosed late-stage cancer is classified as catastrophic (i.e. the cancer is a Stage IV malignant tumor with presence of distant metastasis). Once claimed, the policy will terminate. ​​​

  • Death Benefit – Receive 30% of the Sum Assured in case of death due to any cause not limited to cancer​​​

  • No-Claim Reward (Return of Premium) – Receive 50% of total annual premiums paid after 10 years, if no claim is made ​​

  • Guaranteed Automatic Renewal – Coverage may be renewed after the 10-year coverage term without new underwriting or new application​​.

  1. Pre-existing Conditions - medical conditions, injuries or illnesses that you already have before purchasing this plan will not be covered.

  2. Waiting Period - the critical illness benefits of this plan are available after 90 days from policy effectivity date.

  3. Plan Exclusions - this plan has other conditions and exclusions that may affect the payment of the insurance proceeds.

  4. Free-look Period - you have 15 days from the date you receive your policy booklet to decide if this plan is for you. If you advise us that you wish to discontinue your coverage within this period, we will refund the premium that you paid in full.

Late-Stage Cancer - A malignant tumour positively diagnosed with histological confirmation and characterized by the uncontrolled growth of malignant cells with invasion and destruction of normal tissue. The term malignant tumour includes leukemia, lymphoma and sarcoma.​

Catastrophic Cancer - All American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) Stage IV malignant tumour with the presence of distant metastasis and WHO grade III / IV glioma brain tumours. A spread to lymph nodes only will not qualify as distant metastasis. The diagnosis of malignancy must be confirmed by histological evidence.​

Premium – a specified amount of money that you pay in exchange for the coverage provided by your insurance plan​

Sum Assured – the guaranteed amount stated on the policy contract that the policy owner or beneficiary will receive upon the occurrence of a covered event, e.g. death​
