PRURide Virtual Challenge 2020

1. Challenge ends on January 31, 2021.

2. The PRURide Virtual Challenge event is FREE of charge in the Pulse app.

3. Tap on the PRURide Virtual Challenge tile and select your preferred distance:

• 30km

• 60km

• 500km

• 1,000km

4. Sync your wearable and fitness device to track your performance in the challenge either indoor or outdoor.

• Garmin

• Fitbit

• Google Fit

• Apple Health

5. Finish your selected challenge within the designated  period and get prizes. Participants can join multiple challenges at a time.

• All 30km finishers shall receive e-certificates and 1 raffle entry. Only the first 400 finishers will get a FREE PRURide PH 2020 jersey (subject to size availability).

• All 60km finishers shall receive e-certificates and 2 raffle entries. Only the first 500 finishers will get a FREE PRURide PH 2020 jersey (subject to size availability).

• All 500km finishers shall receive e-certificates and 3 raffle entries. Only the first 300 finishers shall receive a FREE Rudy Project sling bag and a FREE PRURide PH 2020 jersey (subject to size availability).

• All 1,000km finishers shall receive e-certificates and 6 raffle entries. Only the first 200 finishers shall receive a FREE Rudy Project sling bag and a FREE PRURide PH 2020 jersey (subject to size availability).

• Only the first 3,000 finishers of any PRURide Virtual Challenge shall receive a discount voucher from Garmin amounting to Php1,000.00.

• In case a participant finishes multiple challenges within the challenge period, he/she shall only receive one (1) FREE PRURide PH 2020 jersey (subject to size availability).

• In case a participant finishes multiple challenges within the challenge period, he/she shall only receive one (1) FREE Rudy Project sling bag.

• In case a participant finishes multiple challenges within the challenge period, he/she shall only receive one (1) Garmin discount voucher amounting to Php1,000.00.

6. All early bird finishers shall receive an email requesting for the preferred PRURide PH 2020 jersey size after the challenge period, through the participants’ Pulse-registered email address.

7. Rudy Project sling bags and PRURide PH 2020 jerseys  shall be shipped via courier to the qualified participant’s Pulse-registered address, within four (4) weeks after the challenge period.

8. An e-certificate and a link to the PRURide Virtual Challenge Facebook frames shall be sent to all finishers’ Pulse-registered email address, after the challenge period.

9. Challenge finishers can only win once in the raffle.

10. Prizes are non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.

11. Should Pru Life UK find irregularities in the participants’ challenge performances, results may be forfeited.

2. Go to My Communities in the Pulse app and join the Cycling-PRURider Community.

3. Select from any of the following Family Challenges and take a photo

• Best Decorated Bike

➢ Show your creativity and take a photo of yourself with your decorated bike.

• Best Family Photo

➢ Wear your best holiday costumes and have a family photo with your bike.

• Best Kid Photo

➢ Take a photo of your kid wearing his/her favorite holiday costume with his/her bike.

4. Create a post and type the CHALLENGE name on the title bar.

• Challenge name: Best Decorated Bike

• Challenge name: Best Family Photo

• Challenge name: Best Kid Photo

5. Each post must be accompanied by a short caption about the photo.

6. You may post as many photos and entries as you want, provided that all photos are different.

7. Photos must be original and should not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity, or any intellectual property rights of any individual or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photo.

8. Photos must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectional or inappropriate content.

9. Any photo in violation of any or all of the conditions mentioned above shall be disqualified.

10. Posts with the most number of Likes at the end of the challenge period shall be determined as the winner.

11. All winners shall be notified via the participants’ Pulse-registered email address after the challenge period.

12. Prizes are non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.

13. Prizes shall be shipped via courier at the winners’ Pulse-registered address within four (4) weeks after the challenge period.

1. What is the schedule for PRURide Virtual Challenge?

PRURide Virtual Challenge period is from December 18, 2020 to January 31, 2021

2.Who are eligible to join PRURide Virtual Challenge?

PRURide Virtual Challenge is FREE and open to all registered to the Pulse app of legal age who are in good health and have no medical condition or afflicted with any illness or symptoms of illness.

3. How do I join PRURide Virtual Challenge?

To join, interested participants must download the Pulse app for FREE (available in both on Google Play and Apple App Store.) Once downloaded, users simply need to tap on the PRURide Virtual Challenge tile located in the home page of the Pulse app and select their preferred distance challenge.

4. How much is the registration and joining fee?

PRURide Virtual Challenge is FREE.

5. What are the requirements for joining?

To join, participants must download Pulse for FREE on their Android and iOS devices. Participants need to have a Garmin or Fitbit wearable device/fitness tracker which can be synchronized with the Pulse App so they can track their performance for the virtual race. You can also pair your Pulse app with your android or apple phone by using Google Fit and Apple Health respectively.

6. What are the available race challenges and categories in PRURide Virtual Challenge?

There are four (4) individual challenges fit for all types of cyclists - 30km, 60km, 500km and 1,000km.

A Family Challenge engagement activity will also be available via the Pulse Cycling-PRURider Community page for the following competition:

• Best Decorated Bike

• Best family photo costume with bike (Christmas themed)

• Best kid photo costume with bike (Christmas themed)

7. Can I join multiple challenges?

Yes, you may join in multiple challenges.

8. What are the fitness trackers, wearables and devices acceptable in the PRURide Virtual Challenge?

Participants may use and synchronize their fitness tracker, wearables and devices such as Garmin, Google Fit, Apple Health and Fitbit on their Pulse app.

9. What type of bike can I use in PRURide Virtual Challenge?

Participants may use both their outdoor and indoor bikes.

10. I have concerns and questions with the Pulse app and/or PRURide PH event, who do I contact?

Users can share their concern in the Pulse app. Simply tap on Account, MyFeedback and share your concerns in the box below the phone screen and click submit.

1. Who are eligible to join PRURide FAMILY Challenge?

PRURide Family Challenge is open all Pulse users that are also part of the Cycling-PRURider in MyCommunity.

2. How do I join PRURide FAMILY Challenge?

To join, interested participants must download the PULSE app for FREE both on Google Play and Apple App Store. Once downloaded, users simply need to go to My Communities in Pulse app and join the Cycling-PRURider Community, and post a photo.  Each post must be accompanied by a short caption about the photo.

3. What are the available FAMILY challenges?

There are three (3) available Family Challenge engagement activities to choose from:

•  Best Decorated Bike

➢  Show your creativity and take a photo of yourself with your decorated bike.

• Best Family Photo

➢  Wear your best Holiday costumes and have a family photo with your bike.

• Best Kid Photo

5. How will the PRURide FAMILY Challenge winners be notified?

All PRURide FAMILY challenge winners shall be notified via participant’s Pulse registered email address after the challenge period.

6. How will I receive my PRURide FAMILY Challenge prize?

Prizes shall be shipped via courier at the participant’s registered address within four (4) weeks after the challenge period.

7. Can I instead transfer and/or convert my PRURide FAMILY Challenge prize to cash?

PRURide FAMILY Challenge prizes are non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.

3. How do I request for a jersey size?

All finishers shall receive an email requesting for the preferred PRURide PH 2020 jersey size after the challenge period through the participant’s Pulse registered email address.

4. How and when will I receive my PRURide PH 2020 jersey?

PRURide PH 2020 jersey prizes shall be shipped via courier at the participant’s registered address within four (4) weeks after the challenge period.

5. I finished multiple challenges, do I get multiple Rudy Project sling bags?

Participant who finishes multiple challenges within the challenge period shall only receive one (1) FREE Rudy Project sling bag

6. How and when will I receive my Rudy Project sling bag?

Rudy Project sling bags shall be shipped via courier at the participant’s registered address within four (4) weeks after the challenge period.

7. I finished multiple challenges, do I get multiple Garmin discount vouchers?

Participant who finishes multiple challenges within the challenge period shall only receive one (1) Garmin discount voucher amounting to Php1,000.00.

8. How and when will I receive my Garmin discount vouchers?

Garmin discount vouchers shall be available in Pulse My Rewards within 2 weeks after the challenge period.

9. Can I instead transfer and/or convert my prizes such as PRURide PH 2020 jersey, Rudy Project sling bag and Garmin discount voucher to cash?

Challenge prizes are non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.

1. What are the raffle prizes?

PRURide Virtual Challenge raffle prizes include one (1) Garmin Edge 530, one (1) Tacx Galaxia Rollers, one (1) Mountain Bike and four (4) Folding Bikes.

2. If I finish multiple challenges, do I earn more raffle entries?

Yes, finishers will earn additional raffle entries for every completed challenge within the challenge period.

3. Can I win more than once in the raffle?

A finisher can only win once during the raffle draw.

4. If I was drawn more than once during the raffle draw, what prize do I get?

If the finisher is drawn more than once during the raffle draw, he/she will automatically be awarded the prize of higher value and forfeits the prize of lesser value. Another winner will be drawn for the prize of lesser value.

5. How will the raffle winners be notified?

Raffle winners shall be notified via Pulse registered email.  If after 60 calendar days (after sending the email to the winner), and the winner still has not responded, the prize shall be forfeited.

6. How will I receive my raffle prize?

Raffle prizes shall be shipped via courier at the participant’s registered address within four (4) weeks after the raffle draw on February 5, 2021.

7. Can I instead transfer and/or convert my raffle prize to cash?

Raffle prizes are non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.
