How do I replace my lost policy contract?

To request for a replacement contract, please submit to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you a duly accomplished and notarized Agreement Pertaining to Loss or Destruction of Policy Form along with a payment of PhP150.00.

Can I assign my policy contracts?

Your policy contract can be used as part of a collateral agreement. The proceeds of your policy are shared with your assignee (the individual receiving full or part of your insurance proceeds). To assign, submit your policy contract to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you, together with a duly accomplished and notarized Assignment of Policy Form, a copy of the Loan Agreement Form, and consent of Irrevocable Beneficiaries and Release of Previous Assignment Form, if any.

How can I release the assignment of my policy contract?

As soon as you have fully paid your loan from where you assigned the policy, you may request for the release of your policy's assignment. To do this, submit the following to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you:

  • Accomplished Release of Policy Assignment Form

  • Policy Amendment Request Form (for change of beneficiary)

  • Secretary's Certificate of Board Resolution (if the Assignee is a Corporation) authorizing an officer to sign for the Company

How do I update my contact information?

You may update your contact information (contact number/s and mailing address) online through PRUAccess, our online customer portal where you can access your policy information 24/7. Log in to your PRUAccess account and select the ‘Customer Information Update’ tab.

Alternatively, you may also accomplish the Contact Information Update Form and have your agent process it for you, or directly submit it to your agent or any Pru Life UK Customer Center near you.

How do I update my personal information?

Personal information includes correction of the Insured or policy owner’s name, change in civil status, occupation, and date of birth without change in age.

To make changes to any of these information, you may submit a duly accomplished and signed Policy Amendment Request Form, along with the necessary documents such as your birth certificate, marriage contract, specimen signature card, and a valid government-issued ID. You may request your agent to process this for you or you may directly submit the documents to any Pru Life UK Customer Center near you.

Can I change my beneficiary?

You may change your beneficiary/ies online through PRUAccess, our online customer portal where you can access your policy information 24/7. You may access PRUAccess here.

Can I change the owner of my policy?

Should you as the original policy owner surrender your rights over the policy to another person with exactly the same insurable interest to the insured, the new owner is required to submit a duly accomplished and signed Policy Amendment Request Form, along with a valid government-issued ID, policy contract, and a specimen signature card. As the original owner, you also need to sign the form.

Can I change the non-forfeiture (NFO) and the dividend option of my policy?

You may add an optional benefit to your policy any time to make your policy fit your needs better. This requires paying an additional regular premium that corresponds to the sum assured of your chosen optional benefit. To make this request, simply submit a duly accomplished and signed Policy Amendment Request Form and Declaration of Proof of Insurability to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you.

Can I increase/decrease my policy’s sum assured?

You may increase the sum assured of your policy once every policy year up to the maximum sum assured amount allowable for your current age, and as long as you are under age 60. To increase your policy’s sum assured, simply submit a duly accomplished and signed Policy Amendment Request Form and Health Statement Form to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you. Additional requirements may be required depending on the assessment of your request.

You may reduce the sum assured of your policy after the first policy year and thereafter, once every policy year. To make this request, please submit to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you a duly accomplished and signed Policy Amendment Request Form.

Can I switch from one fund to another?

Yes, you may switch the units of your fund to other funds that are available on your plan. You may apply for a fund switch online through PRUaccess, our online customer portal where you can access your policy information 24/7. You may access PRUAccess here.

Alternatively, you may submit a duly accomplished and signed Premium Redirection/Fund Switch Form along with the letter of consent of your irrevocable beneficiary/ies or assignee (if applicable) to your agent or to any Pru Life UK customer center near you.

Can I increase my policy’s investment?

You can make an additional one-off payment (“top-up”) to increase the units invested in your fund, subject to the Company’s rules and regulations, and the acceptable age limits the person insured. To top up, simply submit a duly accomplished and signed Top-up Form, Personal Financial Statement and Agent’s Confidential Information, along with a valid government-issued ID to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you.

Can I increase/decrease the amount that I pay?

Depending on your plan, you may adjust the amount of your regular premium.

You may increase it any time as long as the insured is under age 60.

You may also reduce the amount you pay as long as it is equal to or more than the minimum amount allowable for your plan.

To request for an adjustment in your regular premium, simply submit to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you a duly accomplished and signed Policy Amendment Request Form (PARF).

Can I withdraw from my policy’s funds?

Once your policy has a withdrawal value, you can apply for a partial withdrawal any time by asking us to sell some of the units allocated to your account. The price used to sell units depends on the timing when we receive your application.

If you partially withdraw from your policy/ies, you will reduce its fund value and death benefit in the event of a claim. The fund value may also become insufficient to support your insurance coverage and its charges. In this instance, it might be necessary to provide additional premiums and top-ups in the future to ensure that your policy remains active.

To request for a partial withdrawal, submit a duly accomplished and signed PRULink Application for Withdrawal Form with consent of irrevocable beneficiary/ies, if any, and a valid government-issued ID to your agent or any Pru Life UK customer center near you.

PRUAccess is the portal made especially for our PRU customers. You can access your policy information, official receipts, premium notices, letters, and more, anytime, anywhere!

What can I do with PRUAccess?

Apart from viewing your policy information, official receipts, premium notices, and letters, you can also make the following transactions through PRUAccess:

  • Enroll your credit card to the auto-charge facility

  • Change the mode of payment to a more or less frequent schedule

  • Add, remove, or update your beneficiary list

  • Switch to another insuravest fund

  • Redirect your premium allocation

  • Top-up/add to your insuravest fund

  • Apply for a partial withdrawal

  • Apply for a dividend withdrawal

  • Update your contact information

How do I register for a PRUAccess account?

To register for a PRUAccess account, simply accomplish the online registration here.

Make sure to have your policy contract with you at the time of registration as you will need to input your policy details. Registration is FREE.

I am having trouble registering to PRUAccess. Who can I speak with?

Should you encounter any technical problems or need support, please call or email our PRU Customer Action Team and a service representative will be happy to help you from Monday through Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except holidays.

I forgot my username/password for PRUAccess. How do I retrieve it?

If you forgot your login details, please use the PRUAccess account recovery feature here.

Should you require further assistance, please call or email our PRU Customer Action Team and a service representative will be happy to help you from Monday through Fridays, 8:30 to 6:00 PM, except holidays.

I got locked out of my PRUAccess account. How can I unlock it?

If you have been locked out of your account due to inactivity or multiple wrong passwords, please use the ‘Forgot Username and Password’ feature of PRUAccess.

Reset your login details in just five (5) easy steps:

  1. Visit the PRUAccess website and click ‘Forgot Username and Password’.

  2. Enter either your username or registered email address and validate captcha.

  3. Click ‘Reset password via email address’. An email notification will be sent to your registered email address. You can also reset the password by answering three security questions correctly.

  4. Log in to your account using the temporary password emailed to the registered email address and change the pass.

  5. An email notification will be sent to your registered email address once the password has been successfully reset.
