Important information about your
Pru Life UK policy

The Company strongly encourages its valued customers to pay premiums regularly, on or before the due date.

You are strongly encouraged to pay the premium on or before the specified due date in order to ensure that your insurance protection remains in force.

For traditional products

  • If the premium payment is not received before the end of the grace period, which is 31 days after the due date, the Policy will lapse. However, if your Policy has already earned sufficient cash value, the Company will effect your chosen Non-Forfeiture Option (NFO). Non-Forfeiture Option (NFO) is a provision that allows a policy with enough cash value to continue coverage under specific circumstances, even if a renewal premium is not paid by the end of the grace period.

For regular premium unit-linked products

  • If the premium payment is not received before the end of the grace period, which is 31 days after the due date, the Policy will lapse if its fund value is insufficient to settle insurance charges. However, if the Policy already has a sufficient fund value, Pru Life UK will deduct the insurance charges from the fund, through unit cancellation, in order to keep the Policy in force. The Policy will lapse once the fund is no longer sufficient to settle insurance charges.

 

Please visit any Pru life UK Business Center near you and submit a duly accomplished Health Statement Form together with the premium payment. Our staff will inform you if there are any other requirements that you need to submit and if your Policy is still qualified for reinstatement. Please take note that the approval of the Policy’s reinstatement is still subject to Pru Life UK’s underwriting guidelines. Reinstatement cost may also vary based on the final assessment of your application.

Business center payments

As a Pru Life UK policyowner, you may visit any of our business centers nationwide. Allow us to serve you at your utmost convenience.

  • Cash and check payments are accepted in all branches from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • The maximum amount acceptable for cash payment is PhP 500,000.00. If the amount exceeds the maximum limit, the payment must be made in check.
  • Demand drafts are required for non-cash payments for USD policies.
  • Please make checks payable to Pru Life UK.

Payments through Pru Life UK agents

  • Always secure a provisional receipt from your agent. Pru Life UK will only honor payments supported by authorized provisional receipts.
  • An official receipt is sent out one week after the date of payment.

Bank payments

Credit card

Payments via credit cards are accepted for all plans, except for PRUlink single premium plans and top-ups.

Peso and US dollar credit cards are accepted in the following Pru Life UK branches:

  • All Metro Manila regional offices/branches/business centers (except in Las Piñas)
  • Bacolod
  • Baguio
  • Batangas
  • Cagayan de Oro
  • Calamba
  • Cebu regional offices and branches
  • Davao regional offices and branches
  • General Santos
  • Iloilo
  • Naga
  • Urdaneta

Cardholders must accomplish a Credit Card Enrollment Form and submit it together with a photocopy of the front portion of the credit card to the nearest Pru Life UK branch.

China Union Pay is not yet eligible for this arrangement.

Note: Billing is done on the payment due date, except on weekends and holidays. Payment of automatic premium loan and policy loan through credit card is not allowed.

Payment counters and bank partners

  1. Present the current Premium Notice in any Bayad Center/SM mall payment counters

  2. Cash and check payments are accepted. Checks should be payable to Pru Life UK.

  3. SM Mall accepts payments from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
  • Automatic Debit Arrangement

    Submit two (2) original copies of the Automatic Debit Arrangement Enrollment Form to any Pru Life UK branch.

  • Over-the-counter payment

    Present the current Premium Notice and fill out payment slips with Pru Life UK as payee.
  • Automatic Debit Arrangement
    Submit two (2) original copies of the Auto-Debit Arrangement Enrollment Form to any Pru Life UK branch.

  • BPI Express Online
    Visit www.bpiexpressonline.com for more information.

  • BPI ATM payment and phone
    Enroll your BPI account in your depository branch.

  • Over-the-counter payment
  1. Present the current Premium Notice and fill out payment slips with Pru Life UK as payee.

  2. Those residing abroad can pay through telegraphic transfer, which is subject to bank charges.

  3. For telegraphic transfer, provide Pru Life UK with a copy of the transaction receipt/slip. Shown below is the account number that can be used:

  • Automatic Debit Arrangement
    Submit two (2) original copies of the Automatic Debit Arrangement Enrollment Form to any Pru Life UK branch.
  • Automatic Debit Arrangement
    Submit two (2) original copies of the Authorization to Debit Account (ATDA) form to any Pru Life UK branch.

  • Metrobank Direct

  • Over-the-counter payment
  1. Present the current Premium Notice and fill out payment slips with the following required information:

    • Company name: Pru Life UK
    • Subscriber name: Policyowner’s name
    • Reference no.: Policy number
    • Subscriber no.: 167

  2. Those residing abroad can pay through telegraphic transfer, which is subject to bank charges.

  3. For telegraphic transfer, provide Pru Life UK with a copy of the transaction receipt/slip. Shown below is the account number that can be used:

    • 007-261-50094-5 – Peso plans
    • 002-261-00209-9 – Dollar plans

 

  • Over-the-counter payment

    1. Go to any Security Bank branch near you.
    2. Queue for bank teller transaction (no payment slip will be filled out by the client).
    3. The attending bank teller will ask for the following details to be encoded in their system (or present the current premium notice).

      • Merchant name: Pru Life UK
      • Policy number
      • Policyowner’s name
      • Amount of Payment

    4. A Universal Transaction Slip (UTS) will be printed.
    5. The client will be required to print his/her name and sign the UTS.
    6. Client’s copy will be provided.

  • BancNet Online facility is subject to pre-enrollment of account holders of some BancNet Online bank members. Please coordinate with your depository bank for details.

Enrollment to ADA Facility is subject to bank’s approval. Please continue to monitor and pay subsequent premiums until receipt of confirmation that the ADA application has been approved to avoid policy lapsation. Once approved by the bank, the renewal premium payment will be automatically debited from your enrolled account every due date.
