Important information about your
Pru Life UK policy

The Company strongly encourages its valued customers to pay premiums regularly, on or before the due date.

You are strongly encouraged to pay the premium on or before the specified due date in order to ensure that your insurance protection remains in force.

For traditional products

  • If the premium payment is not received before the end of the grace period, which is 31 days after the due date, the Policy will lapse. However, if your Policy has already earned sufficient cash value, the Company will effect your chosen Non-Forfeiture Option (NFO). Non-Forfeiture Option (NFO) is a provision that allows a policy with enough cash value to continue coverage under specific circumstances, even if a renewal premium is not paid by the end of the grace period.

For regular premium unit-linked products

  • If the premium payment is not received before the end of the grace period, which is 31 days after the due date, the Policy will lapse if its fund value is insufficient to settle insurance charges. However, if the Policy already has a sufficient fund value, Pru Life UK will deduct the insurance charges from the fund, through unit cancellation, in order to keep the Policy in force. The Policy will lapse once the fund is no longer sufficient to settle insurance charges.

 

Please visit any Pru life UK Business Center near you and submit a duly accomplished Health Statement Form together with the premium payment. Our staff will inform you if there are any other requirements that you need to submit and if your Policy is still qualified for reinstatement. Please take note that the approval of the Policy’s reinstatement is still subject to Pru Life UK’s underwriting guidelines. Reinstatement cost may also vary based on the final assessment of your application.

Payments via PRUaccess

You may now pay your premiums using your credit, debit or prepaid card (VISA, Mastercard and JCB) through PRUaccess Payment Portal. Log-in to your account at PRUaccess.

Go cashless with our credit card auto-pay facility!

  • Ensure on-time crediting of premium payment, keeping your policy updated
  • Keep your cash or savings intact for regular expenses or to earn more interest
  • Earn more Loyalty Points/Rewards/Rebates applicable to your card

VISA and Mastercard

  • Payment via credit card is accepted for all plans, except for Single-Pay premiums.
  • You must accomplish a Credit Card Enrollment Form and submit it together with a photocopy of the front portion of your credit card to any Pru Life UK customer center/s.
  • Pru Life UK will automatically charge the policy premium to the enrolled credit card account on the payment due date.
  • Payment of Policy Loan, Automatic Premium Loan (APL) and Top-ups through credit card is not allowed.
  • Payments using peso and dollar credit cards are also accepted at Pru Life UK customer center/s.

You must accomplish two (2) original copies of the Auto- Debit Arrangement Enrollment Form and submit it together with a photocopy of proof of bank account to any Pru Life UK branch.

Proof of bank account must clearly display the account name and account number.

Pru Life UK will automatically debit your renewal premiums from the enrolled account every payment due date. Enrollment to the ADA facility is subject to the bank’s approval.

When paying through fund transfer, please use the account name PRU LIFE INSURANCE CORPORATION OF U.K. or Pru Life UK.

Provide Pru Life UK with a copy of the validated transaction receipt/slip via email.

Payment Centers and Digital Cash

Present the current Premium Notice in any Bayad Center or SM Bills Payment Counter and pay your premium.

You can pay your regular/renewal premiums for your peso-denominated policies with Globe GCash via SMS or the app.

Via the GCash app

  1. Log in to your GCash
  2. Tap the Pay Bills icon
  3. Select Pru Life UK as biller
  4. Enter your Policy Number and the Amount to pay
  5. Confirm your payment

Via *143#

  1. On your phone, dial *143#
  2. Select GCash
  3. Select Pay Bills
  4. Select By Category
  5. Select Utilities
  6. Select Pru Life UK as biller
  7. Enter your Policy Number and Amount to pay
  8. You will receive an SMS on your mobile device confirming your payment transaction.

Payments via GCash will take 1-2 business days to be posted on your policy.

Note:

GCash is NOT applicable for PRULink Investor Account Plus, PRUMillionaire, and for the following payments:

  • New Business payment
  • Top-ups
  • Reinstatement
  • Loan repayment

Payments via Customer Centers

Pay at any Pru Life UK customer center nationwide from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • Cash - the maximum amount for cash payment is PhP 500,000 or USD 10,000. If the amount exceeds the maximum allowable amount, the payment must be made in check.
  • Checks - please make all checks payable to Pru Life UK.
  • Prepaid, Debit, or Credit Cards - payments using peso and US dollar cards are accepted.
  • Demand Drafts are required for non-cash payments for US dollar policies.

Payments via a Certified Agent of Pru Life UK

  • Always secure a provisional receipt from your agent. Pru Life UK will only honor payments supported by authorized provisional receipts.
  • Direct deposit to the personal account of the agent is strictly prohibited.
  • Check payments should be made payable to Pru Life UK.
